A material that moulds to any shape, then holds firm.

Alltorc Innovations Ltd has developed an innovative, patented thermoplastic compound that can be thermally moulded at low melt temperatures — yet behaves as a semi-rigid, rubber-like solid once cured. One material; a portfolio of real-world products.

The material

flexiTorc® — low-melt, re-mouldable, re-usable

Every Alltorc product is built on a single uniquely formulated polymer blend. It softens at a low melt temperature so it can be shaped to any design, then sets rigid — and unlike most conventional thermoplastics, it can be reshaped and fully re-processed.

flexiTorc® is supplied as a 3D-printable filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm diameters as well as in granular feedstock. It runs on standard FDM and direct-feed systems, validated across both consumer and industrial printers.

Unlike most conventional thermoplastics, flexiTorc® can be reshaped and fully re-processed. A worldwide manufacturing & distribution licence underpins commercial supply, with 50+ distributors across 20+ countries.

Two flagship innovations

From a single polymer, two distinct frontiers

flexiTorc® is the platform. Today, two product programmes turn its low-melt adaptability into solutions for markets where fit, comfort, durability and re-use matter most.

Prosthetics innovation

flexiWrap®

Self-adjusting prosthetic volume management

A smart, reusable, lightweight and washable prosthetic wrap. It enables transtibial amputees to self-adjust the prosthetic socket fit at home or on the go — restoring independence and reducing clinical visits.

  • Self-adjusting — fills changing void spaces
  • Modular & washable — lumens lift out to clean
  • Three sizes covering ~90% of transtibial amputees
Personal protection

torcTuff®

Lightweight, re-usable anti-stab protection

A thin, ~100 g stab-resistant sleeve (wrist-to-elbow) — high-level protection at ultra-light weight, which can be fully reprocessed.

  • Tested per CAST BAS2017 & NIJ Level 2
  • Thermally adjustable for individual fit
  • Replaceable core — sustainable & repairable
R&D programme · flexiWrap®

Engineering a prosthetic wrap that adapts with the wearer

The problem today

A residual limb can change volume for as long as 16 months following amputation. To fill the resulting voids between socket and liner, amputees currently pad with regular socks — ultimately not fit for purpose.

The flexiWrap® solution

A wrap that enables the amputee to self-adjust to fill void spaces as the residual limb changes volume. flexiTorc® lumens soften at a low melt temperature so the device can be shaped, re-shaped and re-used — repeatedly.

“This product will be a game changer when it hits the market.”

Lightweight stab-proof protective sleeve

A lightweight, easy-to-fit, stab-proof sleeve where the flexiTorc® outer material can be removed, reprocessed and reused if the product becomes damaged.
